Department:  Drawing, Painting, and Mixed Media 

Students will learn beginning drawing techniques, using ink pens to cross hatch while viewing a still life. 

In the first session students will learn the history of cross hatching and practice the technique and start their still life drawing. As the sessions continue, students will gradually progress in shading and begin creating shape and volume to their piece.

Students should bring 

   -Strathmore drawing paper 12"×15"

   - Bic ink pens in colors of red, blue, green and black.
