This course covers the techniques of using graphite pencils to draw portraits. Beginning from understanding the tone values, textures, shading and blending techniques, this course is ultimately aimed at creating pencil portraits with a photo realistic feel and effect.

Students should bring their own sketchbook (9” X 12”, Hard cover, spiral binding). Drawing materials and erasers will be provided.
