Department: Children - Painting & Drawing

Students will learn to use different grades of pencil with an emphasis on detailing. Projects will be simple yet realistic. Learn the importance of shading while creating a realistic effect. We will start off with fruit studies, moving on to a variety of subjects. Occasionally we will explore color pencils and pastels. Students are encouraged to bring sketch books to keep their work together and at the same time track their own progress. All levels welcome.

Ages 6-15

Students should bring their own 9 X 12  sketchbook. Pencils, erasers and other drawing materials will be provided in class.
