Mandala Carving Class

  • The Peoria Art Guild 203 Harrison St Peoria United States (map)

Instructor Roger Wolford, of Wolford Carving, will show you how to carve a mandala pattern onto a wooden plaque using a rotary tool (like a Dremel). He will demonstrate how to use a rotary tool for carving, select the proper burs, and transfer a pattern. Here is a good opportunity to try power carving and avoid the expense of the tooling. This is a beginner to intermediate level class. NO ARTISTIC SKILLS ARE REQUIRED, IF YOU CAN TRACE A LINE YOU CAN DO THIS!
